With the early signing day approaching in just under two weeks, fans from across the nation will be keeping a close eye on how many of their current commitments sign early with their respective teams.

For TCU, the Frogs currently have 20 commitments for their 2018 class which ranks 17th in the nation. If you commit to TCU months ago and don't sign a/the letter within a week after early signing date, should the staff take your commitment seriously ... while another scholar athlete equal to or greater than you, drops in and offers to sign that letter you didn't sign.

Early signing period is 3 days, Dec. 20-22. It will be interesting to see how many top prospects sign early across the country. It could really take the steam out of the first Wednesday in February.

I think you're right! I have been an advocate of an early signing period for a couple of years. If a kid hasn't made his mind by now (at this date) and can legally sign , then bite the bullet and get on with growing up.
