TCU avoids the sweep with 13-4 win over Kansas​

TCU’s bats woke up, and Ben Abeldt returned to form, as the Horned Frogs avoided the sweep in Lawrence on Sunday afternoon,

The 13-4 win over Kansas matched TCU’s highest run total of the year, the third time the Frogs have scored 13 in a game.

Kansas got all four of their runs with two outs in the bottom of the first off of starter Braeden Sloan. Sloan conceded two singles to open the inning before notching a strikeout. A double play appeared to get Sloan out of the jam, but a review overturned the out at first base and kept the inning going for the Jayhawks.

Sounds like it finally got warm enough yesterday for the Frogs' hands to thaw out. Night baseball in Kansas in early March. Ugh. Definitely a kind of home field advantage.
