Kansas State guard R.J. Jones commits to TCU

Kansas State guard R.J. Jones committed to TCU on Wednesday, becoming the fourth member of Jamie Dixon's transfer portal class this offseason.
Jones, a 6-foot-3 guard, spent just one season with the Wildcats before hitting the portal in April, playing somewhat sparingly. The former 4-star recruit out of Wasatch Academy in Utah averaged 2.4 points in 8.9 minutes per game last season.
As a prospect Jones was the No. 77 overall player in the 2023 class and the No. 1 rated player from the state of Texas, per the 247 Sports Composite Rankings. He was the No. 11 overall shooting guard as well, holding offers from 19 schools including TCU, Xavier, USC, Georgetown, Colorado, Illinois, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and Kansas State.
