Getting Julius on campus is huge, five star who will have offers from everyone before it is all said and done. The level of recruits that we are getting on campus is light years ahead of where we have been in previous years. Thank you Big East.

It might be wishful thinking, but if a few very talented close friends wanted to immediately be starters together in an elite conference, TCU would be the team. They could all get immediate PT, stay close to home, and all play together. Get enough of them and we could immediately compete

This is kind of what Baylor did. Promise immediate playing time to lure good players. That and Scott Drew could sell ice to eskimoes.

In theory, they could have this train of thought. If they want to routinely go to the NCAA tournament, however, that is when other schools such as UT, KU, and Ohio St (some of the schools seriously pursuing Randle) have us beat. Just depends on how much they want to get immediate exposure vs. how much they want to immediately compete for national titles (albeit in a smaller role as underclassmen).
