Whichever combination reduces the parade of turnovers by our backcourt. Somehow we did well when Robinson took over but he can also be a turnover machine. A great shooting (scoring) 2 guard would solve a bunch of issues.

You have to remember we started a freshman and a sophomore in the Big12, there will be a learning curve. I think both did a fantastic job overall and in two years when Alex is a Sr and Jaylen is a junior they will be very very tough.

Frank mason as a freshman- 2.1 assists and 1.1 turnovers/game......as a sophomore 3.9 assists and 2.1 turnovers/game.

J fish as a freshman- 4 assists and 2.7 turn/game
A rob as a soph- 5.8 assists and 2.7 turn/game

Of course they will improve. I don't find the stats for Fisher but Robinson was one of the very highest assist guys out there but ended up number 82 in assist turnover ratio because of his 107 turnovers. Also Mason was a full time point guard so hard to compare stats with two points who played significant minutes together. Again I am very excited about both players but let's not pretend turnovers isn't an area that needs improvement.

I agree 100% turnovers need to improve but I also am not worried about that as they will improve as youth and inexperience at this level helped contribute to that this past year.

Im not qualified to analyze games but during that losing streak at the end of conference play and especially against the pressing defenses, it was sometimes hard to watch. I do think that the combinations Dixon has available next season will help quite a bit.

Couple things:

- Jamie Dixon basically confirmed that Rafus is not going to make it in, he said we currently have one scholarship open going into 2017-18. The intimation was that we might sign 1 more for 2017 class, but I could also see them holding it for 2018 and getting 5+ guys.

That means the 2017 class, officially, is Nembhard, Samuel, Pierce, and Olden. Lat Mayen technically qualified and was counted as part of the 2016 class, but wasn't cleared to play by the NCAA until it was too late and the team decided to redshirt him. All four of those guys above have been announced by the team. The fifth scholarship referenced above I believe is the open guard spot vacated by Trent leaving the program mid-season.

- Also, reported that the following guys are our top targets... If you are wondering, this class would give us the #1 recruiting class in the nation:

5* Gerald Liddell: http://247sports.com/Player/Gerald-Liddell-85995
4* Jaedon LeDee: http://247sports.com/Player/Jaedon-LeDee-81394
4* Jacobi Gordon: http://247sports.com/Player/Jacobi-Gordon-86016
3* Russell Barlow: http://247sports.com/Player/Russell-Barlow-94256

Given that we just took a Forward commit (Angus), I think Barlow might not get a committable offer until later in the period.

Is Noi basically the same situation at Mayen?

Too bad about Rafus, but not a real suprise.

Think he means Noi not Mayen, Lat signed early along with Nembhard for the class of 2017 but does not finish school until this spring. He is expected to enroll this summer and NCAA has until the fall of this year to clear him. He was not eligible for 2016 and was always expected to enroll for the 2017/18 school year.

Barring any unforeseen changes and assuming they get the Cam Johnson transfer there would only be two spots available for 2018 and McWilliams fills one of them and Davis the other.

If I was guessing, TCU might be holding that 2017 'ship only for Cam at this point. If he is a no, then they push to 2018. There is SO MUCH talent in 2018 and a lot of it is really liking TCU right now.
