College Station is ~90 miles from the city center of the 4th largest city in the US in one direction and ~100 miles from the city center of the 11th largest city in the other direction. A lot of derogatory remarks for it, but middle of nowhere probably isn't one of them - at least not if you're from Texas. Alpine is in the middle of nowhere.

I think Houston is third and Phoenix is fourth, now.

Texas averaged 200 ypg on the ground this year. Not sure how many of those were “power” yards, but they were yards. Somehow we and the 3-3-5 held them to 28 on 22 carries.

You guys should probably plan on being good on 3rd down.

This video of Josh Pate's pre-Fiesta analysis showed up in my feed. He also emphasized the importance of TCU getting Michigan into 3rd-down situations, and that you can survive giving up yardage if you are situationally good, which is what shooting gaps with the 3-3-5 can do. You'll give up 15-yard runs guessing wrong, but when you guess right on 1st & 2nd down, you get them into 3rd and long, which is just what the Frogs did.

Pate also nailed the importance of a fast start for TCU. His analysis was great up until the last two minutes, when he reverted to the party line and predicted a UM cover.

I mean…..Marvin Harrison is every bit the physical specimen QJ is with better speed, hands, body control. Nearly every draftnik agrees he is the best receiver in college football regardless of class. OSU also has 2 first round tackles, Emeka Egbuka, Julian Fleming both 5* players. They have an embarrassment of riches. The way this board has undersold OSU is pretty funny to me. Since 2000 they are quite clearly the 2nd best program in America behind Alabama

Have not seen much from you. What lessons did Michigan learn after a 2nd CFP loss? Can you explain why it appears TCU offensive line should have won that award at least this year?

Since the Big 10 was spanked completely out of the CFP within hours, what should be said?
