WFAA: TCU closing out first Big 12 season at home against Sooners

FORT WORTH -- The performance that TCU's 16 true freshmen have given the football team so far this season has painted a bright future for one of the two schools in the Big 12.
"The one good thing about playing all these guys we played at the end of the year; we're going to have a very good, clear picture of what we feel like we have to do before next season," said TCU head coach Gary Patterson. "You can't say we backed down from anybody."
After beating Texas in Austin on Thanksgiving, TCU will close out their Big 12 schedule by hosting Oklahoma.
Last week, the Sooners beat Oklahoma State for their fourth win in a row -- an emotional win in overtime that the Sooners have to put behind them in a hurry. ...
