WFAA: No. 3 TCU trying to stay focused with playoff in sight

FORT WORTH – Cold weather has faded the color of the green grass at Amon G. Carter Stadium, but by game time on Saturday, it will be green again as crews were painting the field green on Tuesday.
 
Like their field, TCU wants to look good in their final home game of the season and pick up more style points, much like their impressive win over Texas Thanksgiving night.
 
"Oh yeah, that did help us," said TCU wide receiver David Porter. "It kind of helped out resume out going into their house and beating them like we did."
 
But judging from this week's College Football Playoff rankings, the Frogs may not have much to worry about come Sunday. ...
