If Arizona held onto their coach they would be ranked ahead of Utah. They won their last 7 games of the season and bring back a lot of talent. Best QB/WR duo in the league.

In 2009, Utah was ranked #14 and we crushed them 55-28. Our team was pumped.

We won the last meeting 47-7 too. That was in 2010.

Will be fun to restart this rivalry. We always stepped up when Utah was a hyped game. Sorta like us always playing down to Kansas level.

Tech is also getting votes in the Coaches Poll.
EDIT: Sorry, forgot we don’t have KSU, WVU and ISU on the schedule. The 16-team league takes some getting used to.

We miss Iowa State this year. Who knows how many of the teams currently ranked or receiving votes will be as good as advertised by the time we play them, or how many not in the poll will be a surprise team by then. Whatever correspondence it ends up having with actual events, the AP poll seems to confirm what was said about the schedule when first published: the new Big XII will be fun every year, and schedules will be deep on quality but absent of near-certain losses at the hands of an Oklahoma-esque giant.

This schedule is manageable but exciting; I can't wait.

Hard to believe Kansas State is not getting any love. Kansas is without their quarterback for the first 5 or 6 games. they could lose a handful of those as a result. Regardless, I like it when the Frogs are overlooked and under rated, good things usually happen.
