Waco Tribune-Herald: Baylor notebook: Shock Linwood’s absence; Bears give up more sacks, 4th-quarter points

In winning their first six games, the Bears held opponents scoreless in the fourth quarter.
But in the last two weeks, they’ve given up 23 fourth-quarter points as the Longhorns scored nine last week in a 35-34 win over Baylor in Austin before TCU scored 14.
Not that the Horned Frogs needed to score in the fourth quarter. They were already leading 48-14 through three quarters.
“The last two weeks have not been good on the field,” said Baylor coach Jim Grobe. “We lost a heartbreaker at Texas and today played really poorly against a team that played really good.”
