The suffocating atmosphere at Boone Pickens Stadium didn’t faze Chris Johnson.
The magnitude of the game, his own inexperience, and the fact that Baylor’s Big 12 championship hopes were on the line didn’t make the sophomore quarterback panic.
All Johnson did was step into the toughest of situations and lead Baylor to a 45-35 win over then-unbeaten Oklahoma State on Saturday night in Stillwater.
Johnson threw two touchdown passes and ran for another in the Bears’ first road win over a top 10 team in the Art Briles’ era. ...
