USA Today: Oregon State, TCU square off at Cowboys Stadium

To play, or not to play? That was the question presented to Oregon State coach Mike Riley when offered the chance to face TCU in the Dallas Cowboys' house. In the end, Riley decided there were more pluses than minuses. The matchup of the No. 22 Beavers and No. 7 Horned Frogs becomes a reality Saturday, making the game in Arlington, Texas, one of the higher-profile contests of opening weekend.
"We were approached with this game in early spring," Riley says. "We already had Boise (State) and Louisville. We figured that was plenty. It was a process we went through, but in the end we just decided it was ... a great opportunity for our team and a great buildup to the season."
The addition of TCU gave the Beavers a third game against a team that was in a Bowl Championship Series game last season, joining Boise (State)State and archrival Oregon. It is also a major test on a weekend when most top-tier programs are playing what amount to tuneups against heavy underdogs. ...
