Not all, but those prohibitionists women were unnerving in their looks .
One thing you will notice about all the photos way back was the serious expressions, generally because the pose had to be held for several seconds.
For instance, there is Etta Place, shown here with with the Sundance Kid.

Look around and you will find women who were attractive by even today's standards.
But those in the poster, I don't know how you kiss them...or heaven forbid reproduce with them...without beeing really drunk and/or horny. BTW, that looks like Carey Nation on the far left (sans axe), who apparently was about six feet tall....brrrr....close the door and lock and latch it, here comes Carey with a brand new hatchet.
