FORT WORTH, Texas — There wasn't a lot of hope for CSU's football team Saturday.
The Rams, losers of five consecutive games, were facing a TCU team that had just beaten then-No. 5 Boise State for its fifth consecutive win, knowing that a loss would officially shut the door on Colorado State University's hopes of turning things around and getting to a bowl game this season.
Mychal Sisson, though, wasn't ready for it to be over. The senior linebacker had worked extra hard to return from a broken ankle he suffered in a Sept. 10 win over Northern Colorado.
And at the team hotel Saturday morning, he gave his teammates a pep talk that cornerback Momo Thomas said brought tears to the eyes of several players. ...
