Norrie v. Bautista Agut has finally started after a 3 hour delay at Indian Wells for a ticket to the Round of 16. It's 3-all now in the first set; Cam was broken early but broke back to even it. A little late night TCU tennis action tonight... Unfortunately, the Tennis Channel is showing Tiafoe-Hurkacz. 4-all now. The winner gets Andrey Rublev or Tommy Paul; also currently being played (Paul just took the first set). 5-4! Cam gets the late break! 6-4! The Camster takes the first set (he had to save a break point to do it). 0-1 in the 2nd. Cam had a break chance but couldn't convert. The Tennis Channel is now showing Medvedev-Krajinovic. 0-2. Not good. Another early break. 1-2! In a loong game with multiple deuces, Cam breaks back. Very windy in the desert tonight - it should work to Cam's advantage. 2-all. Cam holds easily over RBA. Rublev leading Paul in their 2nd set. 2-3. Rublev-Paul goes to a 3rd set. 3-all. Evans lost to Schwartzman today, so Cam has a chance to become the British #1 if he goes deep at this Masters 1000 event. 4-all. The Tennis Channel cut to Cam's match briefly - all points are being hotly contested, but it remains even on serve. 4-5. Must hold here. 5-all. Cam saves 2 set points and holds. 5-6. Cam is wearing a purple shirt and Facundo is wearing a TCU shirt (as usual). But it didn't help in that game... Norrie falls 5-7 as RBA gets the key late break.
