SportDFW: Spring Game Assessment of Quarterbacks

One of the most highly anticipated events of watching the spring game was seeing Casey Pachall and Matt Brown play on the field, as they are the heirs apparent to the Andy Dalton throne.
I was relatively pleased to see both their gameplay. While both have a while before they can get to a Dalton-like status, they’re both still young. (Pachall is a redshirt sophomore, Brown is a redshirt freshman) For two young guys, they showed good signs of confidence and competence.
Pachall is the starting quarterback for TCU and today’s game showed that he rightfully deserved the job. Pachall clearly has the offensive schemes under his mastery. He knows how to execute, demonstrated by how he needled in throws with surgical precision. ...
