Robert Henson Released by Redskins

Former Frogs linebacker Robert Henson announced that he has been released from the Washington Redskins this morning. He had been with them for two years after being drafted in the 6th round in 2009. Hopefully he'll get picked up by someone soon.

Hawthorne went to a better situation for him to play his way in than Henson perhaps. Had Henson gone to Seattle when Hawthorne did, I would guess Henson would be starting there.

Honestly, yes. I always saw Hawthorne as a more athletic, D-wash type, which I think translates better to the NFL.

Henson always seemed like a player that was just looking for a big hit. Hawthorne was a little more well rounded. JMO
