FOXBOROUGH - New England Patriots offensive lineman Marcus Cannon is said to be making progress in his recovery from non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, though he still has some hurdles to overcome before being able to come off of the non-football injury list.

Cannon, a fifth-round pick out of Texas Christian University, has been taking part in all of the team meetings and is on a workout program, though there are still a number of things that he is unable to do. ...
