Mack Brown: UT, Big 12 will be fine.

Various reports now that SEC has voted and the tally was 11-0 (one president abstained) in favor of admitting the Aggies.

I would guess the political machines are firing up in Austin and Waco.

Is he wrong? Losing ATM hurts, but as long as UT and OU stay, the Big 12 will move on. And UT will be fine no matter what happens to the Big 12.

There's a difference between saying UT will be fine and saying the Big XII will be fine. One will be and the other one is terminal (and has been for at least a year)

How does anyone from UT have the right to speak about the "security" of the Big 12-2? They are the ones who are destroying it...

If Mack was really sincere about wanting things to be the same ... he should have lobbied/opposed the LHN... uless the overall strategy was to go indy, once they sae LHN was a real success.

Cheers!

Texas IS the Big XII... plus they have their own network and their own Beebe gun. The teams replacing A&M, Colorado and Nebraska will be the Texas' 2nd, 3rd and 4th teams. NOTHING is too big for Texas.
