Intentional Grounding Question

Was SDSU's quarterback in the end zone when he was flagged for intentional grounding? Kind of looked like it from where I was sitting, but I didn't have a great view. Isn't that a safety if he was?

no he wasn't in the end zone, but he sure as heck wasn't at the 4 yard line. it was as obvious an intentional grounding call as there could be and the head official acted like he wasn't certain; going to confer with the other official.

I swear he was on the one yard line. I was in the press box, so I saw the play myself and then (thanks to the slight delay) confirmed what I saw on the TV monitor.
