I have some serious rain envy. The Hill country is dry, dry, dry. Still having to feed cows into May is just wrong.

Indeed it is; I wish for rain for all the Hill country, trans Recos and Big Bend areas. Not Lubbock though.

Thank you, Lord. We only had a 30% chance of rain today...but since my last post 4 hours ago, we are now approaching 4" of rain. The 40' deep tank that was totally dry is now overflowing, and all the dry creeks are flowing as well. In a stroke of good timing, I planted 7 acres of hay yesterday afternoon, so that should spout in the next few days and start to replentish the hay we 've had to feed due to the drought. Life is good.
