TCU tied its top air rifle mark of the season, shooting a 2,390 to win the discipline championship. It's strong showing led to a championship score of 4,739. It's the second straight title for the Horned Frogs.</p><p> </p><p>In total, TCU has now swept its way through the championships seven times. Additionally, the air rifle crown is its eighth in conference history.</p><p> </p><p>Air Force (4,729) finished second followed by Alaska (4,727), Nebraska (4,711), Ohio State (4,704) and UTEP (4,568).</p><p> </p><p>The Horned Frogs sent four shooters to the finals. <a href="https://gofrogs.com/sports/womens-rifle/roster/mikole-hogan/15382" target="_blank">Mikole Hogan</a> finished in third place followed by <a href="https://gofrogs.com/sports/womens-rifle/roster/katie-zaun/15386" target="_blank">Katie Zaun</a> in fourth, <a href="https://gofrogs.com/sports/womens-rifle/roster/nina-schuett/15383" target="_blank">Nina Schuett</a> in fifth and <a href="https://gofrogs.com/sports/womens-rifle/roster/jeanne-haverhill/15865" target="_blank">Jeanne Haverhill</a> in sixth.</p><p> </p><p>The trio of <a href="https://gofrogs.com/sports/womens-rifle/roster/stephanie-allan/15380" target="_blank">Stephanie Allan</a>, Haverhill and Zaun got the Frogs off to a strong start in the first relay of the day Haverhill fired a career-high 598 which was matched by Zaun. Allan contributed a 596. </p><p> </p><p>In relay No. 2, the Frogs continued their hot shooting with a pair of Frogs, <a href="https://gofrogs.com/sports/womens-rifle/roster/mikole-hogan/15382" target="_blank">Mikole Hogan</a> and <a href="https://gofrogs.com/sports/womens-rifle/roster/nina-schuett/15383" target="_blank">Nina Schuett</a>, setting career-highs in the discipline. Zaun finished second with an aggregate of 1,186. Schuett set a career-high aggregate mark of 1,185 to finish fourth. Grundsoee (1,183) finished eighth. Haverhill matched her career-high of 1,183 en route to finishing ninth.</p><p> </p><p>TCU will return to action in its final home match of the season on Saturday.
