The noon tipoff time is in place to accommodate Fort Worth ISD Field Trip Day and Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day.</p><p> </p><p>The Frogs (4-1) suffered their first loss of the season on Saturday, falling at No. 1 Notre Dame. Before that, the Frogs had opened the season with four-straight home wins.</p><p> </p><p><strong><u>How to Follow</u></strong> </p><p>Wednesday's game is being broadcast by Fox Sports Network with Chuck LaMendola and Janice Dziuk on the call. The Bulldogs have wins over Bradley and Fort Wayne sandwiched between a season-opening loss to East Tennessee State and a road loss to Wisconsin.</p><p> </p><p>Like TCU, Butler is very young with three freshmen and two sophomores starting in their loss to UCF. Leading scorer Kristen Spolyar (16.8 ppg) is a true freshman. Butler is allowing just 62.8 points per game, but also scoring just 60.2 per game. Butler hasn't allowed more than 68 in a game, but also scored over 60 just once.</p><p> </p><p><strong><u>The Series</u></strong> </p><p>Butler leads the series, 1-0, thanks to last season's win at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. A banged-up TCU team shot just 32 percent in that game, due largely to 13 blocks by Butler. Zahna Medley led TCU with 13 points while current Butler sophomore Tori Schickell led the Bulldogs with 21 points.</p><p> </p><p><strong><u>Five Points</u></strong> </p><p>1) The Frogs won their four games this season, all at home, by an average of 34.2 points per game. TCU has won 20 straight, and 40 of its last 41, home games against unranked reams. Overall, TCU has won nine straight home games and has a 12-4 record at Schollmaier Arena.
