Last Time Out
The Frogs suffered their first loss of the season on Saturday at No. 1 Notre Dame, 92-59. TCU trailed by just two points, 49-47, with 5:24 left in the third quarter. However, from there TCU missed 13 straight shots from the field over a 12-plus minute span as Notre Dame pulled away.

Through the game's first 25 minutes, the Frogs were shooting 63.3 percent (19-of-30) against the top-ranked Irish. AJ Alix led the Frogs with 16 points, including three 3-pointers, and five assists.

Scouting Butler
Butler (2-3) comes to Fort Worth well rested with its last game coming at home on Tuesday, Nov. 22, a 66-59 loss to UCF. The Bulldogs have wins over Bradley and Fort Wayne sandwiched between a season-opening loss to East Tennessee State and a road loss to Wisconsin.

Like TCU, Butler is very young with three freshmen and two sophomores starting in their loss to UCF. Leading scorer Kristen Spolyar (16.8 ppg) is a true freshman. Butler is allowing just 62.8 points per game, but also scoring just 60.2 per game. Butler hasn't allowed more than 68 in a game, but also scored over 60 just once.

The Series
Butler leads the series, 1-0, thanks to last season's win at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. A banged-up TCU team shot just 32 percent in that game, due largely to 13 blocks by Butler. Zahna Medley led TCU with 13 points while current Butler sophomore Tori Schickell led the Bulldogs with 21 points.

Five Points
1) The Frogs won their four games this season, all at home, by an average of 34.2 points per game. TCU has won 20 straight, and 40 of its last 41, home games against unranked reams. Overall, TCU has won nine straight home games and has a 12-4 record at Schollmaier Arena. The Frogs are 33-8 at home under Raegan Pebley.

2) TCU is moving the ball well with an average of 21.4 assists per game, the fourth best mark in the NCAA. TCU commits just 12.2 turnovers per game and have the nation's third best assist-turnover ratio at 1.75 assists per turnover.

3) TCU comes into Wednesday's game shooting 43.4 percent from 3-point range as a team, the fifth best mark in the NCAA. The Frogs have made at least six 3-pointers in every game this season, with its 6-of-11 effort at Notre Dame marking the season low for makes and attempts.

4) Sophomore transfer Amy Okonkwo is TCU's leading scorer at 12.8 points per game, doing so off the bench in all five games. She leads the nation in field goal percentage (73.5, 25-of-34) and is 7-of-10 from long range, that after going 0-of-5 in all of 2014-15 as a freshman at USC.

5) AJ Alix is the hottest Frog as of late, scoring in double-figures in each of the last three games, including a team-high 16 points and five assists at Notre Dame. Alix is fifth in the Big 12 with 2.4 3-pointers per game.
