GoFrogs: Track Competes at Oliver Jackson Twilight, Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA –
TCU track and field wrapped up competition at the Oliver Jackson Twilight and the first day of the Penn Relays.

Jaren Holmes and Patrick Sylla placed first and second, respectively, in the men's long jump. Holmes won with the fourth-farthest long jump mark in outdoor history at 7.79m (25' 6.75") while Sylla took second with his mark of 7.53m (24' 8.50").

In the 800m, Jasmin Muhammad-Graham won with her time of 2:07.87. Rylan Engels placed third with her time of 2:15.41. Mathilda Bjorklund continued her stellar season with her fourth outdoor win of the season in the hammer throw. She took first with her throw of 54.85m (179' 11").

Samantha Callaway and London Culbreath placed second in their respective events. Culbreath finished as the 1500m runner-up with her time of 4:36.16. In the women's discus, Callaway earned silver with her throw of 50.73m (166' 5.0").

Both Quinn Calhoun and Benjamin Kirbo placed third overall in the pole vault. Calhoun earned bronze with her height of 3.68m (12' 0.75"). Kirbo took third on the men's side at 4.97m (16' 3.50). In the women's long jump, Ke'Yona Gabriel finished third overall with her leap of 5.84m (19' 2.0").

In the women's 5K at the Penn Relays, Mariana Martinez finished 51st overall with her personal-best time of 17:07.47.
