GoFrogs: Three Straight! TCU Volleyball Punches Ticket to NCAA Tournament

FORT WORTH – For the third straight season, TCU volleyball punched its ticket to the NCAA Volleyball Tournament, earning an at-large bid to the Eugene Regional.

As the No. 5 seed in the upper left quadrant, TCU (21-7, 13-5 Big 12) will face Hawaii (21-9, 13-5 Big West) on Thursday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m. CT. The Frogs are joined by High Point and the host Oregon.

It marks the sixth appearance overall and third straight in the NCAA Tournament for the Horned Frogs. In each of the past two seasons, head coach Jason Williams has guided TCU to first round wins over Washington (3-1, 2022) and No. 22 Florida State (3-1, 2023).

The 2024 regular season marked one of the best in TCU history. The Frogs received their first national ranking in program history, cracking the top 25 of the AVCA coaches' poll, where they stayed for 12 straight weeks. With a 21-7 overall record on the year, TCU notched its first 20-win campaign since 2011, including a school record tying 14 wins on its home court in Schollmaier Arena.

Throughout the season, the Frogs knocked off three other ranked opponents, No. 18 Minnesota (3-2), No. 14 Baylor (3-1) and No. 23 BYU (3-2). Additionally, TCU picked up wins over seven opponents in the RPI top 50 and 14 wins against AVCA top 100 teams.

The Frogs are one of six teams from the Big 12 to be selected to the Big Dance.
