She joins <a href="http://www.gofrogs.com/sports/w-baskbl/mtt/chelsea_prince_761409.html" target="_blank">Chelsea Prince</a>, the 2015 Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, as the only Horned Frogs to win a Big 12 individual award.</p><p></p><p>Okonkwo was also named to the All-Big 12 Second Team, while <a href="http://www.gofrogs.com/sports/w-baskbl/mtt/jordan_moore_972361.html" target="_blank">Jordan Moore</a> and <a href="http://www.gofrogs.com/sports/w-baskbl/mtt/kianna_ray_1017638.html" target="_blank">Kianna Ray</a> both earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention recognition. This marks just the second time in its six seasons in the league that TCU has had three separate players earn All-Big 12 honors. Prince, <a href="http://www.gofrogs.com/sports/w-baskbl/mtt/zahna_medley_802082.html" target="_blank">Zahna Medley</a> and <a href="http://www.gofrogs.com/sports/w-baskbl/mtt/veja_hamilton_802059.html" target="_blank">Veja Hamilton</a> earned Big 12 honors in 2015.</p><p></p><p>Okonkwo, a Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., native, is also now just the second Horned Frog to earn first- or second-team All-Big 12 honors, joining Medley who was a three-time All-Big 12 First Team selection. Okonkwo is the second Horned Frog to earn a sixth man award, joining <a href="http://www.gofrogs.com/sports/w-baskbl/mtt/grace_gantt_124933.html" target="_blank">Grace Gantt</a> who was the Conference USA Sixth Player of the Year in 2002.</p><p></p><p>In addition to averaging 15.4 points, Okonkwo also averages 5.8 rebounds per game. She shoots a Big 12-best 90.2 percent from the free throw line and is the only autonomy conference player to shoot over 90 percent. Add to that number her 51.1 field goal percentage, and Okonkwo is on pace to be just the second player in Big 12 history to record a 50/90 season.</p><p></p><p>Moore, a junior from Round Rock, Texas, is TCU's second leading scorer at 12.8 points per game and the Frogs' leading rebounder at 6.8 boards per game.
