FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU baseball team will wrap up their season-long 13 game homestand this weekend when they host conference foe New Mexico for a three-game series. Friday's series-opener is set for 6:30 p.m. at Lupton Stadium. TCU has won five straight league games and are currently in first place in the Mountain West.

• TCU has matched its season-long five game winning streak after sweeping Air Force and UT Pan American.
• Head Coach Jim Schlossnagle tallied his 400th career win on Sunday afternoon.
• Brance Rivera saw his 27 game hitting streak come to an end on Tuesday night.

Brance Rivera saw his career-long 27 game hitting streak come to an end with an 0-for-4 day at the plate Tuesday against UT Pan American.
Chad Huffman previously held the longest streak under Jim Schlossnagle with a 22-game streak in 2006.
The streak saw Rivera hit in every game of the season to that point and produced a .412 batting average.
He had a team-high 14 multiple-hit contests. Breaking it down, he had nine two-hit contests, four three-hit contests and one four-hit game.
13 times, Rivera extended his streak in his first at-bat of the game. Only three times did he need his final at-bat to keep the streak alive.
TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN
TCU has been a dominating force in the Mountain West since joining the league in the 2005-06 academic year. They have won five straight regular season titles and four conference tournament titles, representing nine of the 10 trophies dished out since the Frogs joined the league.
The Frogs 95 league victories are 22 more than San Diego State's 73 wins over the last five plus seasons in the league.
THE K-ZONE
Kyle Winkler set a personal best with 15 strikeouts against Air Force on Friday night. That is the highest strikeout total by one pitcher since Coach Schlossnagle's arrival on campus.
His previous high had been 12, a feat that he accomplished last season against UNLV in the conference tournament.
On the season, Winkler has fanned 61 in 51 innings pitched over seven starts. He has a 8.7 K:BB ratio, having issued only seven walks on the season. His 61 strikeouts rank tied for seventh nationally.
BIG BOPPERS
The TCU offense has found life over the last 12 games. In eight of the 12 contests, the Frogs have produced 11 or more hits.
Additionally, hits of the extra base variety have really taken off to as they have 50 during that 12 game span.
TCU has a .468 slugging percentage, a mark that ranks eighth nationally and leads the Mountain West. Brance Rivera's .680 slugging percentage is second in the league.
On the season, TCU has 66 doubles, 12 triples and 24 home runs.
