A back and forth battle would continue for the remainder of the game before the Owls held on for the win. Ibeh led a balanced scoring offense for TCU as she finished with 17 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the field. <a href="https://gofrogs.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/tomi-taiwo/14750" target="_blank">Tomi Taiwo</a> was the only other Horned Frog to reach double-figures as she recorded 15 points in the contest. <a href="https://gofrogs.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster/roxane-makolo/14948" target="_blank">Roxane Makolo</a> added seven points to round out the top scorers for TCU.</p><p> </p><p>As a team, TCU shot .404 percent from the field and .200 percent behind the arc. They were out-rebounded by a 24-27 margin in favor of the Owls.</p><p> </p><p>Ashlee Austin led Rice in scoring with 18 points, while Katelyn Crosthwait finished with 14 points.</p><p> </p><p>With the loss TCU falls to 3-4 on the season, while Rice improves to 7-0. </p><p> </p><p><strong>UP NEXT</strong></p><p>TCU will return home for their next game when they host George Washington on Monday, December 5th.
