HOME SWEET HOME
TCU is in the midst of a 12-game homestand after a season-long nine game road trip. The Horned Frogs will play 20 of the next 23 games at Lupton Stadium where they boast a 8-4 record so far this season. The Frogs rank ninth nationally in attendance with an average of 4,439 fans per game.

Jerrick Suiter has benefitted the most from the home cooking with a .353 and is one of three Frogs with 12 hits at home. Jantzen Witte enjoyed his return to Lupton this weekend with five hits in seven at-bats.

On the mound, Stefan Crichton has tallied three wins, while Kaleb Merck has three of his four saves on the season. Cricnton andPreston Morrison are battling for the lowest ERA at home with a 1.40 and a 1.45, respectively.

BACK WITH A VENGEANCE
Offseason hip surgery sidelined Jantzen Witte for the first 19 games of the season. After an 0-for-3 day at the plate in his first game back, Witte seems to have found his swing. In the last five contests, he has tallied multiple hits in four and is batting .500 (9-for-18) with a double and three RBIs.

AS THE DEFENSE GOES...
On the season, the Horned Frogs have committed 39 errors for a .960 fielding percentage. 25 of those 39 errors have come in six games, while 34 have come in seven total games.

The Horned Frogs have played 11 errorless games this season and boast a 9-2 record in those contests. They are just 5-9 in games they commit an error, including 2-7 in games in which they commit two-or-more errors. TCU pitchers have given up 117 runs on the season, 24 of them of the unearned variety.

THE HOT TICKET
Opening night saw a crowd of 5,912 fans pack Lupton Stadium for the season-opener. It marked the second-largest crowd in stadium history. With 12 games and over 53,000 fans in attendance the Frogs rank ninth nationally and first among all private schools in attendance per game.

To put it in perspective, just 12 games into the season, the total attendance of 53,272 has already surpassed the total number of fans in each of the first five seasons Lupton Stadium was in existence. TCU is on pace to have almost 143,000 fans at the ballpark this season.
