FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU will continue life on the road Wednesday at No. 8/9 Oklahoma State inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. The Horned Frogs' contest against the Cowboys will tip at 7:00 p.m. CT and be shown live on Big 12 Network with Mitch Holthus (Play-By-Play) and Reid Gettys (Color) calling the action live.

The Opponent
No. 8/9 Oklahoma State heads into Wednesday night's conference tilt, boasting a 14-2 overall record and 2-1 mark in league play after dropping West Virginia, 73-72. Against the Mountaineers, senior Markel Brown hit a three-pointer off an assist from Marcus Smart with 15 seconds left to secure the Cowboys' second-straight conference victory.
On the season, Smart, who earned Big 12 Player of the Week accolades following his 22-point performance against WVU, has led the way, averaging 17.8 points overall, while shooting 46.4 percent from the field. The returning All-America honoree has seen his scoring average increase during conference play, averaging 20.3 points a contest in three games.
The Series
TCU and Oklahoma State will battle for the 22nd time in program history Wednesday night. The Cowboys lead the all-time series, 19-2. In all, TCU will be looking for its first win in Stillwater since claiming a 37-16 victory in 1925. In the Frogs only other win against OSU in program history, the Purple and White dropped the Cowboys in Oklahoma City, 92-61, during the 1986-87 season.
Parrish Stepping Up Game
Since conference play has begun, freshman Brandon Parrish has started to assert himself. The Arlington native is coming off a 16-point performance at Baylor. During the contest, Parrish led the Frogs in rebounding with six, while also dishing out a career-high four assists. In conference games only, Parrish is averaging 14 points a game, which trails only Amric Fields' 14.3 points per game. The freshman, who is 6-foot-6, also leads TCU in rebounding during league play, averaging 4.0 boards a contest.
Following Halftime
Heading into Wednesday night, the Horned Frogs have made it a point to get defensive following halftime in each league game. TCU has held its opponent to seven less points and 15 less field goal attempts during the second stanza of action. The Frogs have also held league foes to 3.6 less rebounds in the second period.
Inside the Last Five Minutes
A recent trend has become noticeable during the Horned Frogs' 15 games this season. In the last five minutes of a game when TCU has the lead during any point, it has gone on to claim victory. In the six losses, the Frogs have never led under the five-minute mark.
Hit The Glass
TCU has proven this season that if it can win the rebounding battle that it will ultimately claim victory, going 6-1 overall when it out-rebounds the opposition. The only loss during that stretch came when the Purple and White out-rebounded Longwood earlier this season, 31-30, but were upset. November signee Chauncey Collins, who scored 51 points last Thursday, was nominated for the 2014 McDonald's All American Game. The Oklahoma City product has averaged over 24 points per game this season for the Oklahoma City Storm and is coming off a season in which he was the unanimous winner of the prestigious Maravich Award, given to the top home school player in the country.
Parrish Coming On

In the last five games, Parrish, who is averaging 42.9 percent from behind the arc during the five outings, has scored 72 of TCU's 325 points, which includes 12 of the Frogs' 27 three-point field goals.
In all, the Arlington product has scored in double-digits in six out of the last seven contests. For the season, he has scored in double-figures in 11 of the 15 games. When Parrish scores 15 or more in a single-game, TCU is 3-2 and had won three-straight prior to the WVU contest.
70 Point Success
When TCU hits 70 or more points in a single-game, good things usually happen as the Frogs are now 7-1 this season when hitting the 70-point mark. The Purple and White are 10-1 under head coach Trent Johnson when doing so. The only loss in the 11 outings came earlier this season when the Frogs were upset by Longwood.
