In the 28th minute, a scramble inside the 18 saw the ball land at feet of <a href="https://gofrogs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11402" target="_blank">Gracie Brian</a>. From her backside, she was able to get the ball to <a href="https://gofrogs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11417" target="_blank">Yazmeen Ryan</a>, who battled her defender to get off a shot that found its way to the back of the goal.</p><p> </p><p>The Frogs kept their foot on the gas in the second half and were rewarded with a couple of goals. </p><p> </p><p>Texas nearly got the equalizer in the 58th minute as Haley Berg's shot from the left of the goal skimmed off the crossbar and out of danger.</p><p> </p><p>After narrowly missing a goal earlier in the half, <a href="https://gofrogs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11412" target="_blank">Haley Mallion</a> finally hit paydirt in the 75th minute. <a href="https://gofrogs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11544" target="_blank">Abby Ogard</a> fed a streaking <a href="https://gofrogs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11416" target="_blank">Brandi Peterson</a> down the sideline. She carried the ball into 18 and found Mallion, whose shot to the far post eluded the Longhorn keeper for a 2-0 lead.</p><p> </p><p>A great individual effort by <a href="https://gofrogs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11404" target="_blank">Grace Collins</a> in the 89th minute turned into a 3-0 lead as she beat her defender and was able to fire off a shot from about 15 yards out.</p><p> </p><p><a href="https://gofrogs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11400" target="_blank">Emily Alvarado</a> had to be sharp as she made five saves, four of which came in the second half, to preserve the shutout.
