GoFrogs: No. 5 TCU Earns Two Wins on First Day of FAU Beach Invitational
BOCA RATON, Fla. – No. 5 TCU went 2-0 on the first day of the FAU Beach Invitational. The Horned Frogs defeated No. 16 FAU (3-2) and FGCU (4-1).

With the win over the Owls, TCU improved to 3-0 against fellow CUSA opponents.

Three Horned Frog pairs went undefeated on the first day of the FAU Beach Invitational: Hailey Hamlett/Anhelina Khmil, Sutton MacTavish/Alex Parkhurst, and Anete Namike/Ana Vergara.

QUICK HITS AGAINST NO. 16 FAU
Anete Namike and Ana Vergara won the first point of the match for TCU from the No. 4 position: 21-16, 21-17.
• The duo improves to 4-0 together as a pairing.
• Vergara is now 9-1 this season while Namike is 8-4.
Keagan Polk and Hallie Corinne Frist fell at the No. 5 spot: 21-23, 16-21.
Hailey Hamlett and Anhelina Khmil won the second point for TCU in a straight-set victory from the No. 1 position: 21-15, 21-16.
• The duo improved to 13-0 this season. All 13 wins have come as the No. 1 pairing.
Tara Patton and Josie Sek fell to FAU's Adams/Woolwine from the No. 3 position: 18-21, 17-21.
Sutton MacTavish and Alex Parkhurst clinched the 3-2 win for the Horned Frogs from the No. 2 position: 18-21, 21-15, 15-12.
• MacTavish and Parkhurst improved to 8-0 together as a pairing and are 5-0 from the No. 2 position.
• TCU is now 3-1 against ranked opponents this season.
• The Frogs are 3-0 so far against CUSA opponents in their inaugural year in the conference.
• TCU now holds a 5-4 lead against FAU in all-time matchups.

QUICK HITS AGAINST FGCU
Kaitlyn Bradley and Olivia Clines won the first point for the Frogs from the No. 5 position: 24-22, 21-15.
• It was Clines' first career start and win.
• In addition to Clines' first career win, it was Bradley's third career win.
Anete Namike and Ana Vergara secured the second point for the Frogs as they won in straight sets at No. 4: 21-19, 21-17.
• Namike and Vergara are now 5-0 together as a pairing.
Sutton MacTavish and Alex Parkhurst are now on a nine-match win streak, defeating the Eagles from the No. 2 spot: 21-17, 21-19.
• The two are 9-0 this season and 6-0 as the No. 2 pairing.
Hailey Hamlett and Anhelina Khmil locked up the fourth point for TCU as the two continued their dominant season with a straight-set victory from the No. 1 position: 25-23, 21-13.
• Hamlett and Khmil are now 14-0 this season, all as the No. 1 pair.
Tara Patton and Josie Sek lost from the No. 3 position to FGCU's Luebbers/De Oliveira: 24-26, 20-22.
• TCU improves to 6-0 this season in neutral site matches.
• The Frogs are now 4-1 against the Eagles in all-time matchups.
