MALIBU, Calif. - No. 2 TCU ended its California road trip with a 4-0 sweep over No. 40 Pepperdine at the Straus-Ralph Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon.

TCU earned the doubles point and won three singles matches to improve to 14-1 on the year.

Doubles Rundown
TCU claimed the doubles point with a couple of newly minted pairs. Pedro Vives and Jack Pinnington were the first Horned Frog pair to finish as the two won 6-3 on court three over Pepperdine's Pietro Fellin and Christopher Papa.


Shortly after, Sebastian Gorzny and Tomas Jirousek clinched the doubles point on court two over Tyler Davis and Edward Winter of Pepperdine, 6-2.

After clinching the doubles point, the Horned Frogs made quick work of the Waves' singles lineup.

Tomas Jirousek moved from his normal court position of five to four and handled business for the Horned Frogs. Jirousek won in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0 over Pepperdine's Christopher Papa.

Jack Pinnington, the number 10 ranked player in ITA rankings, won in straight sets over No. 24 Edward Winter of Pepperdine, 6-2, 6-4. With the win Pinningon earned his 16th win over a nationally ranked opponent dating back to the fall.

Julian Alonso took down Pepperdine's Robert Shelton in straight sets winning 6-3, 6-4.
