Newhouse Represents TCU In Super Bowl

Twenty former TCU football players have been on Super Bowl teams

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Former TCU offensive tackle and current Green Bay Packer Marshall Newhouse is the 20th Horned Frog to be on a Super Bowl team roster. A three-time All-Mountain West Conference selection and a third-team All-American as a senior in 2009, Newhouse is on injured reserve for the Packers. He started all but one game over his final three seasons at TCU.

This will be the third straight season that TCU has been represented in the Super Bowl.

Former Horned Frog Jared Retkofsky was the Pittsburgh Steelers' deep snapper in their Super Bowl XLIII win over the Arizona Cardinals. Former TCU baseball player Greg Meyer was the side judge in last year's Super Bowl between the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints.
