Ibiloye Signs With Cowboys
Twelve members of TCU's 2010 senior class are in NFL training camps this summer
FORT WORTH, Texas -- Former TCU safety Alex Ibiloye has signed a free-agent contract with the Dallas Cowboys, putting 12 members of the Horned Frogs' 2010 senior class in NFL training camps this summer.
TCU had five draft picks this year to go with seven free-agent signees.
Ibiloye was a four-year letterman and two-year starter for the Horned Frogs. Playing as a graduate student last season, Ibiloye tied for sixth on TCU with 39 tackles. He was named the Mountain West Conference Defensive Player of the Week after tying a career-high with nine stops while forcing three fumbles in a victory over Tennessee Tech.
A native of Garland, Texas, Ibiloye recorded seven tackles and recovered a fumble in the 47-7 victory at Utah. He totaled three stops in the 21-19 Rose Bowl win over Wisconsin.
ESPN.com recently ranked TCU No. 1 in the nation for developing NFL talent. In his 10 seasons as the Horned Frogs' head coach, Gary Patterson has had 29 players drafted with 60 in NFL camps.
