FORT WORTH – Following a 4-0 weekend at the Fight in the Fort, Hailey Hamlett and Anhelina Khmil were honored as the AVCA/CBVB Pair of the Week.

FORT WORTH – Following a 4-0 weekend at the Fight in the Fort, Hailey Hamlett and Anhelina Khmil were honored as the AVCA/CBVB Pair of the Week.
From the No. 1 position, the duo defeated FGCU (21-14, 21-17) and then earned three straight ranked wins in a row. The two defeated No. 13 FIU (21-14, 12-21, 15-9), No. 14 Washington (21-15, 21-11) and No. 11 Arizona State (21-16, 21-17). All four points were match-clinching points as well.
Not only did the pair go 4-0, but the duo only lost one set the entire weekend. Hamlett/Khmil are now 19-1 on the season all from the No. 1 position. The two are currently ranked No. 2 for top NCAA pairs/players on court one this season according to collegebeachvb.com.
The pairing is the second TCU duo to receive the AVCA accolade following three-time honorees Daniela Alvarez and Tania Moreno, who last won the award on March 26, 2023.
