What a run for our Horned Frog in reaching the Wimbledon semifinals! We could not be prouder of him. Cam provided incredible exposure for TCU on an international stage. Cam had a decorated career in his three seasons (2014-17) at TCU and still trains on campus. He earned All-America honors and became the first player in our program's history to finish the season with a No. 1 ranking. We also appreciate Facundo Lugones, his former TCU teammate and current coach, for the exposure he provided us by wearing his trademark TCU shirt during Cam's matches.</p><p> </p><p>Cam was not the only Horned Frog at Wimbledon. We were also represented by Alastair Gray who won his opening match in his Grand Slam singles debut.</p><p> </p><p>The National Women's Soccer League season is winding down, and we have had three Horned Frogs active in Yazmeen Ryan (Portland Thorns), Ryan Williams (North Carolina Courage) and Jenna Winebrenner (Kansas City Current). Check out their schedules and try to catch them in action. I know they would enjoy seeing some TCU purple in the stands at their games.</p><p></p><p>We had five players selected in the recent Major League Baseball Draft. Congratulations to Riley Cornelio (seventh round, Washington Nationals), Caleb Bolden (seventh round, Boston Red Sox), Marcelo Perez (11th round, Seattle Mariners), Austin Krob (12th round, San Diego Padres) and Tommy Sacco (14th round, Houston Astros).</p><p> </p><p>When it comes to Horned Frogs and the big leagues, it has been an impressive summer for Matt Carpenter and Nick Lodolo. Matt has 15 home runs for the New York Yankees and has become a fan favorite in the Bronx, while Nick is making an impact for the Cincinnati Reds. In his last two starts, he has allowed just one earned run in 12 innings with 16 strikeouts.</p><p> </p><p>With NFL training camps underway, we have 24 players currently on active rosters.
