FORT WORTH - TCU closes a four game homestand with a key Big 12 series against Oklahoma starting Friday night at 7. The Horned Frogs are second in the standings with a 6-3 mark in Big 12 play.

TCU NOTABLES
• TCU opened its four-game homestand with a 9-1 loss to Dallas Baptist on Tuesday.
• Prior to Tuesday’s game, TCU had allowed more than eight runs just twice.
• TCU sits at No. 22 in the latest edition of the RPI.
• TCU ranks in the top 18 nationally in batting average (17), slugging percentage (14), on-base percentage (.14) and scoring (17).
• TCU posted its sixth shutout of the season on Saturday. It’s the 30th shutout for TCU in the last three years, a mark that is tops in the NCAA.
• TCU hit its 28th home run on Sunday, surpassing the team’s total of 27 in 2015.

• Oklahoma is coming off a 15-7 road victory at Wichita State on Tuesday.
• The Sooners are 7-2 since snapping a four-game losing streak on March 29.
• Oklahoma has notched conference series victories over Texas and Baylor.
• Junior Sheldon Neuse is the key cog for OU, leading the team with six home runs and a .385 average at the plate, while also notching four saves and posting a 3-1 record in 10 appearances on the mound.
• Oklahoma’s team batting average of .259 ranks eighth in the Big 12, while its 3.67 ERA sits fourth.
• The pitching staff has issue the second-most walks in the league with 143.
• Chris Andritsos has started both of Oklahoma’s shutouts this season. He is 4-2 with a 2.70 ERA.

Against Wichita State freshman Dalton Horton was moved to the weekend rotation. He’s done nothing but shine in his weekend role. Horton is 2-0 in those two starts and has allowed just one run on seven hits in 13 innings pitched. Only once in those 13 innings has he faced more than four batters.

On the season, TCU boasts a 6-0 mark in games he starts. The freshman is 5-0 on the year with a 2.08 ERA in 34 2/3 innings pitched. 

DUCKS ON THE POND
TCU is just 2-2 in its last four games. The Horned Frogs have had plenty of base runners, but have struggled to get them home, stranding 47 over the last four games. In the two losses, TCU has combined to strand 22 runners.

On the season, TCU averages 8.2 runners left on base, but also averages 8.1 runs per game. In losses, the average number of base runners left is 7.6, but the Frogs are averaging just 2.8 runs per game. Conversly in wins, TCU averages 8.4 runners left on base, but is averaging 9.8 runs per game.
