5 Individuals, 4 Relay Teams Heading to Oregon
Ronnie Baker will compete in four events for TCU
 
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Five TCU student-athletes competing as individuals and four relay teams will represent the Frogs at the NCAA Championships June 11-14 in Eugene, Oregon.
 
"We'll be taking a respectable group to Eugene," TCU track and field coach Darryl Anderson said. "We had an outstanding day."
 
Entering the final day, Lorraine Ugen (long jump), Megan Smith (discus) and Ronnie Baker (100 meters) already earned their bids, and Saturday the men's and women's 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 relay teams, Baker (200 meters) and Jordan Moore (110H) joined them.
 
Baker finished ninth overall in the 200 meters (20.73), while Moore, the Big 12 champion, was third in his heat and 10th overall with the time of 13.72 seconds.
 
Baker, who will compete in four events in Eugene, was part of the men's 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 teams.
 
In the men's 4 x 100 meters, Kolby Listenbee, Cameron Echols-Luper, Baker and Sam Watts posted the time of 39.65, while the women's team of Iphona-Clemence Paiement, Sabrina Moore, Veronica Jones and Ugen recorded the time of 44.61.
 
In the men's 4 x 400 meters, Narada Jackson, Harvey McSwain, Justin Chambers, and Baker recorded the time of 3:06.68. The women's 4 x 400 meters Tiffany Terry, Jones, Alexandria Peters and Briyanni Thomas posted the time of 3:35.82 to advance.
 
"All in all I thought it was a good day," Anderson said. "We got a lot of things accomplished."
