FWST: TCU women to close out nonconference schedule

The TCU women's basketball team closes out its nonconference schedule today against Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
The schools have met twice, the last in 2010 when TCU won in Fort Worth, 78-74. The only previous meeting was in 2001, another TCU win at home, 62-56.
Both schools share common opponents, including UT San Antonio and UT Pan American. TCU (6-4) beat both; A&M Corpus Christi (1-9) lost to both.
Freshman guard Janae Blount will attract the majority of TCU's defensive effort, averaging a team-high 11.1 points per game this season after making 34.5 percent from 3-point range. ...
