TCU freshman Tyler Alexander is getting used to this.
 
The former Southlake Carroll star has been on the mound for both Horned Frogs championships in 2014, including Sunday night’s Fort Worth Regional title win at Lupton Stadium.
 
Alexander threw his second consecutive complete game, holding Sam Houston State to six hits in TCU’s 6-1 win.
 
He threw his first complete game May 25 in the Frogs’ Big 12 tournament championship win against Oklahoma State. ...

That bit from Boomer getting the thrill of seeing himself on SportsCenter is cool to me. We saw him walking in with some other players before the 2 and a half games Saturday night and said "Let's go Boom" or something like that. He acknowledged with a shyish hand wave. His acknowledgement after that game to the fans had a similar element of shyness/humility. He's an endearing guy.
