FWST: Flint Wallace finds a home at Weatherford College

Something keeps bringing Flint Wallace back to Weatherford. And that's just fine with him.Wallace is in his third season as assistant baseball coach at Weatherford College. Like his head coach, Jeff Lightfoot, he is a Weatherford High School alum, graduating in 1992.
Wallace pitched for the Kangaroos, which is also his position of expertise as Lightfoot's assistant. He's doing his job well as the Coyotes have one of the top pitching staffs around, helping them once again compete for a spot in the NJCAA playoffs.
"I've been real fortunate with my coaching career," Wallace said. "I haven't had to move, and that's rare in this business." ...
