OMAHA, Neb. -- Matt Curry was the first Horned Frogs player on the field Wednesday. He slowly walked from the third-base side, where the team waited out the Oklahoma-Clemson game, toward TCU's dugout on the first-base side.
He was savoring what could have been the last game of his college career. And he was making sure he "was ready to play."
And when he was at the plate with the bases full in the eighth with TCU trailing 7-5, he was thinking it could be his final at-bat. ...
