TCU 14, Texas 0
TCU had lost five straight games when the sixth-ranked Longhorns came to Fort Worth. Lindy Berry fought for a first down on fourth-and-2 to the 6-inch line and Dave Bloxom scored on the next play to give the Frogs a 14-0 lead. Texas finished 8-2 (with a loss at Rice) while TCU finished 2-7-1.
