And now, for some other observations. Enjoyed the mini road trip to Stephenville and seeing the Frogs in person. Sat next to Elijah's extended family and had a good time talking with them. The stadium and the game day experience were lacking. Sanitary facilities were 2 three hole porta-potties on trailers, with one reserved for the team and staff and the other for fans...1 hole for the guys and the other 2 for the ladies. There was zero food service so if you wanted something to eat or drink, you had to go to the nearby convenience store/gas station. The field itself was not far removed from a pasture...the running lane to 1st base looked like a corrugated washboard. As Pharm noted, the area around home plate was watered with an old water can from grandma's garden, then the dirt was spray painted with the outlines of the batters' boxes. The paint which didn't soak in to the dirt was promptly scuffed away by the first batter. And, the Tarleton flag on the outfield was larger than either the US or Texas flag. Bad form. But, the Tarleton ticket lady and ushers were extremely friendly and said how much they appreciated all the TCU folks coming to see the game. Their fans were also friendly and seemed to enjoy the game. There were zero mask nazis running around, and it was a very family friendly atmosphere. That is all.
