She obviously did not do any research before writing the article, as losing those 2 doesn‘t come anywhere close to making it a strategic need to replace.
When you have 14 rotatable returnees on OL, you’re sitting pretty good.
When this season started, TCU only had 7 to 8 rotatable OLs. There‘s no comparison to where we sit today.

Here is the real situation at OL.
Everyone on the current OL is returning to my knowledge.
Plus Cade Bennett will be added back. Now add Camacho, Harvey, Hodnett, Hughes, & Steppes coming off Fresh./Red Shirt.. Now add in 4 more 300 lbers in this current class, and we’ll likely find another IOL in the portal.
OL is nowhere close to the biggest need.

lol. didn't even look up the author. just remembered what we had talked about on another thread and that O line was a building issue. Kudos to her for getting that much in as a Senior in college though.

I'm not trying to put poo on your parade but all of this is less than impressive. Especially for 250lb+ people .40 years ago as a 5'10 210 14-year-old punk , I regularly threw 130-139 distance discus throws and 50 + a shot putt throws. Understand. I am not saying I could last in the "Trenches "with these guys"

As a barometer. Michael Carter former DT of 49rs threw the shotput 83 feet and you're talking about these guys launching 48 feet. Comical beyond late night tele..

I don’t think we ever did but we cranked out some great teams.

Looking at the Top 30 recruiting list, I would guess that the difference between TCU's class and the 7 classes above and 7 below are intangible and highly subjective.

This is one of the biggest wins of the class!!!
Mickell is an instant starter, maybe both are. The portal has sucked all of the oxygen away from Juco recruiting. If TCU had landed these Jucos via the Transfer Portal, they would have cost big money.
You don’t find many cheap experienced 300 lb. Defensive Tackles that will immediately impact your two-deep, and who will report in January.
