Nothing for SMU other than the fact that this is a rivalry game. Nobody believes the Mustangs will compete with a TCU team expected to make the College Football Playoff after just missing out last season. In fact, the Mustangs are 37-point underdogs. All the pressure in this game is on TCU. And that might be exactly what SMU wants. While SMU might not win the game, a good showing would go a long way in keeping the momentum it gained by knocking off North Texas last week. Keeping up with the Horned Frogs could also boost team morale as the Mustangs head into a winnable matchup with James Madison next week. ...
