Daily Oklahoman: Tailbacks Chris Carson and Justice Hill power Cowboys to 31-6 victory at TCU

FORT WORTH — Thunder and lightning? Smash and dash? Double trouble?
Chris Carson hasn’t spent much time thinking about nicknames, but as he stood with reporters Saturday in the bowels of Amon G. Carter Stadium, the need to brand Oklahoma State’s one-two punch at running back seemed eminent. He grinned. “Nah,” Carson said, “I don’t have any suggestions.”
The Cowboy senior will let the statistics speak for themselves.
OSU rolled to a 31-6 victory against TCU, and for the first time since 2007, Gary Patterson’s defense allowed a pair of 100 yard rushers. The OSU timing was imperative, too, on a day where quarterback Mason Rudolph completed just 50 percent of his passes in gusting Fort Worth winds.
