Congrats to TCU for a fantastic season from starting at
number 6 in the polls to being in the top three at the end of year with a win
in the Rose Bowl!

Jeers to the polls and here is a break down for the reason
why I'm jeering!

It amazes me with all the teams the teams ahead of TCU in
the beginning they could not go up in the polls. Good bye to Alabama, Texas, Ohio
St, Oklahoma, Nebraska and even Boise by week 15. How many can jump TCU is really sad by the
time the BCS came out in the weeks to follow and how can someone ranked
at 22 or 23 be able to jump TCU is amazing to me.

1. TCU started the season at #6 in the
AP and #7 in the coaches while Auburn started at #22 and #23 and Oregon at #11
and #12 respectively.

2. With the BCS standings coming out in week 8 TCU was still
doing great with a standing at #5 and the AP #4 including the coaches at
#4. Auburn had risen to #4 in the BCS
and #5 in the AP with a #5 even though they started at #22 and #23. Oregon stayed steady and was #12 in the BCS
and #10 in the AP including Coaches #11.

3. Week 9 was the
first time we saw Auburn at #3 in the BCS but they were still behind at #5 in
both AP and coaches. Oregon had made it
to #1 in the BCS with all other polls falling in line. TCU had jumped up to #4 in the BCS and #4 in the
AP and coaches at #4.

4. What happened to TCU is the BCS! Brain washed writers and coaches who have
been told how to vote and what to do by the BCS until recently when the AP said
sorry but you can't use us anymore. You
can't tell me the writers in those same areas haven't been brain washed because
they have written about their conferences affiliations with the BCS over the
last decade. For a team to drive up in
the polls starting the season at #22or 23 and pass a team that was ranked #6 in
the beginning shows the bias.

5. If we look at the
records of the top three teams they are undefeated this year but what about the
last two or even three years. TCU has
amassed a record over the last three years of 35-3. Auburn on the other hand has 12 losses in the
same time frame and Oregon has 6 losses.
What does this mean? TCU has kept
it's talent on the field consistent while the other schools have been waiting
to get the perfect players in line to go for the title.

6. TCU does have easy games on it's schedule but it also has some of the toughest. While the bowl record of the Big 10 looks pretty bad the mountain west was voted the best conference for 2010-2011 by
ESPN because it wins it's bowl games. By the way that also includes the BCS conferences.

7. Now that we beat a
team from the top of murders row we find out from quite a few writers they may
have been over rated this year. TCU admittedly
is not a fluke but it seems they are saying the Big 10 was instead because they
were embarrassed in all their bowls this year.
We are looking at the world through purple glasses and by golly I am
proud to admit it. They seem to be
better glasses than those of the BCS or the Gee club boys and girls. Some may ask what color are the glasses the
BCS looks thorough and my answer would be black like the ones blind people ware
because it doesn't matter what they see they still have to vote the way they
are told.

8. It seems strange
when I wrote about the AP the other day and showed who voted for what recently they
suddenly pulled the site which showed the voters and how they voted.
http://www.killerfro...howtopic=130341 Could
it be the AP is changing voters as we speak because some have admitted they
will not change their votes even though TCU won the Rose? I hope so because there are some that showed
bias already and this year they have to get it right not only for the AP but
how the AP is viewed as unbiased news reporting.

Good luck to the Frogs and get ready for this coming season
because it will start all over again but the good news is we have joined the
Devil to get our due but at the same time at least we won't be on the outside
looking in!

Go Frogs!

You put a lot of good work into this post. I'll just say the Frogs may never get the respect we believe they deserve but it's not important.

The Frogs are #1 in my book.

Thanks Allinfrog! It only took an hour to write once I started. Look at how much time the coaches and players took to make a perfect season, so this is only a second in their time. I'm like you when it comes to TCU! They will always be number one in my heart!
